Who is Captain Cliff Fleming?
Captain Cliff Fleming has been fishing the waters off of South Padre Island and south Texas since 1974. Cliff grew up as a hunting-fishing Harlingen, Texas outdoorsman and employs a personal outdoorsman trainer whose family pioneered the hunting and fishing guided adventure industry in south Texas and northern Mexico. Licensed as a 6-pack charter captain by the U.S. Coast Guard, Captain Cliff Fleming launched the Crystal Flats Guide Service in 1986 and has been serving families and outdoorsmen ever since.

Captain Cliff Fleming is an expert at sightfishing for targets and loves the challenge of weary tailing speckled trout and redfish. Captain Cliff’s love of the sport is contagious. He takes pride in matching his clients’ requests with their skill levels and welcomes everyone to come out and learn the sport of fly fishing. Children and families are just as at home on his boat as any world renowned sports fishermen. Whether you’re just learning how to fish or want to learn new techniques, Captain Cliff Fleming is eager to help! From live bait anchored out in the channel to exploring the depths of Port Brownsville for exotic fish species and everything in between, you are in for a fishing adventure.
